- Prerequisites
- A pre-requisite for this course is a high-school level proficiency (B1) in a tested foreign language.
- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course aims to evaluate students´ level of language proficiency according to the European framework (CEFR). Based on the test results, a student can make an informed decision about which course to enroll in order to adequatelly prepare for the mandatory language exam.
- Learning outcomes
- Based on the test results, students will be directed either to a preparatory language course (B1) or an exam course (B2).
- Syllabus
- Students' foreign language proficiency will be tested by means of a standardized test. The test will test the ability to understand text and listening in the foreign language. Testing will be in the following languages - English, French, German and Spanish (Russian by appointment only).

- Assessment methods
- Evaluation of language profficiency in alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The minimum level required is B1
