Course objectives
The aim of the course is to expand and supplement the student's professional knowledge in confrontation with the professional academic environment and practice. This confrontation is not limited by topic, it depends on the student's choice in which area he/she wants to specialize. In the case of a non-disciplinary conference, it is necessary to demonstrate application to the field in which the course is included.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to: - describe current topics in their area of interest; - identify experts on topics in their area of interest; - write a report of an event for a journal.

Teaching methods
Presentation, passive participation in a professional event (i.e., attendance at the entire event) (a two-day conference or two one-day conferences of more than four hours each), and creating and offering for publication a report on the event.
Assessment methods
Mandatory attendance at the meeting at the beginning of the semester. A conference report.
