Orientation in the history and development of the Roman state, a basic knowledge of Latin, interest in active participation in the lessons.

Course objectives
The course goal is to complement and expand knowledge of the issues discussed in the lectures, engage students in a discussion about selected topics and to inform them with scientific literature and sources of ancient sources.
Syllabus
  • In the seminars we will discuss topics of interest not only from the area of Roman history, but also culture, politics and other branches. Preparing for the lessons will consist of readings selected (and short!) scientific texts, which will be subject to discussion.
