Course objectives
Knowledge of artistic innovations in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century. General theme: Experiment and avant-garde.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to write an art history essay on the chosen topic according to the assignment.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introductgion. Art Experiment and Avant-garde. In General: 2. Inovation in Art techniques. 2.Mixing of Art Forms (Theatre, Music, Poetry). Sub-themes:3. Constructivism. 4.Bauhaus. 5. Surrealism. 6.Avant-gardi in Central Europe. 7. Experiments in Czech Art. Special theme: 8. Duchamp. Techniques: 9. New Possibilities of Photography. 10. Avant-garde film.
