Course objectives
Seminary will be devoted to monograph analyses of selected sculptures from the first half of the 15th century from Western and Central Europe as well as from Italy and it will aim at comapring the stylistic character of individual regions. Selected artworks will be analysed from the points of view of style (form), iconography, technology, social meaning and the history of their reception.
