Vybrané kapitoly z dějin francouzského umění (architektura, malířství a sochařství) v době vlády francouzského krále Ludvíka XIV.

Syllabus (in Czech)

1. Francouzský klasicismus versus radikální barok (teorie historika V. L. Tapié).
2. Úvod do architektury 17. století (Le Vau, Le Pautre, F. Mansart, Lemercier, J.-H. Mansart, Vauban, Le Notre).
3. J.-H. Mansart a jeho přestavba zámku Versailles, spolupráce se zahradním architektem Le Notrem.
4. Situace malířství v 1. polovině 17. století; konglomerát stylů, tzv. druhý manýrismus ve Fontainebleau (Dubois, Dubreuil, Fréminet).
5. Ohlas tvorby Caravaggia a Annibale Carracciho ve Francii - S. Vouet, Valentin, E. Le Sueur.
6. Georges La Tour a mistři reality (Le Nainové, Michelin).
7. Vliv P. Pourbuse a P. P. Rubense na francouzské umělce.
8. Jansenismus a "portrét duše" - Philippe de Champaigne.
9. Nicolaes Poussin, gestická rétorika a záměrná proměnlivost stylů.
10. Charakteristika "Grand gout" francouzské školy dle Voltaira - E. Le Sueur, N. Poussin, P. P. Rubens.
11. Královská akademie umění v Paříži - Charles Le Brun a Pierre Mignard; diskuse starých a moderních.
12. Portrétní malba - H. Rigaud.
13. Exkurz do francouského sochařství 17. století (Franqueville, Sarrazin, Coysevox, Desjardin, Lemoyne, Puget.
