- Course objectives
- The aim of this lecture is the reflection of a broader representation of the deceased during the first centuries of the Middle Ages. Based on the analysis of several major examples, we will reflect function, meaning and development of these "images". Due to the subject of study, in addition to the usual methodological procedures we will work with athropology of images and historical anthropology more generally.
