Course objectives
The aim of the course is to prepare the graduates in art history for the possible teaching practice and of the art mediation in museums. The course is focused on interconnection of the theoretical and practical point of view of the education in art history and art mediation.
Syllabus
  • 1. The ABC of the teaching methods of the art history.
  • 2. Education work with the museum visitors.
  • 3. Education work with the children in museum (practical training in “children workshop” of the Moravian gallery in Brno).
  • 4. Mediation of the art work.
  • 5. Planning, preparation for the teaching and its realization in view of a trainee teacher (understanding, transformation of the content of the curriculum, the realization of teaching, classification, reflection).
  • 6. Practical training of art history in the Textile technical college in Brno.
