Course objectives
The seminar is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is focused on the history of Czech theatre reviewing since its beginnings till today. Teachers' lectures are confronted with discussions about selected period studies. The practical part of the seminar consists of writing and editing theatre reviews.

Profiled seminar intended for second-year students.
The seminar is held in Czech.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the seminar student will be able to:
- write analytical theatre review;
- do basic text editing;
- critically comment teatrological text;
- orientate his/herself in history of Czech theatre reviewing;
- give clear and educated public speech.
