Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to put Czech medieval plays into the kontext of European theatre adn to interpret the most inmportant Czech Text, Mastičkář, on the background of medieval culture.

  • The herritage of Ancient culture (Hrotsvita, elegigiac commedies)
