Course objectives
The course is dealing with type of regional theatre on examples of chosen Moravian theatres, with their functioning, specifities and historical milestones. By comparing conditions of functioning theatres in post-war times and nowadays the course is following significant constants (or differences) of theatre existence in different social and cultural conditiones.

The course is held in Czech.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course student will be able to:
- characterize specifics of functioning of regional theatres in 2nd half of 20th century;
- analyse their dramaturgy considering contemporary centralised control and specifics of local audience;
- evaluate regional dramatic production;
- orient his/herself in artistic moving of chosen present regional theatres;
- have an overview of chosen theatre directors.
