Course objectives
The aim of the course will be to examine two playwrights whose work has significantly influenced the form of drama in the 20th century. We will try to place both authors into the wider context of European drama. We will also take interest in work of some colleagues of both masters. We will analyse 7 plays and observe their staging practice from the time of their origin till today. Independent work of students in the Elf environment will be a part of the course.
