Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to different concepts of utopia in history and in the present. Students will become familiar with primary texts and then specific types of utopia - urban utopia, utopia in art, utopian visions of aesthetics.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will have knowledge of the basic phenomena of the European utopian tradition and will be able to analyze utopias from the philosophical, political, artistic and historical perspectives and with knowledge of their literary roots.

A written test of the material and the assigned literature, about 15 - 20 open questions. A 75% pass rate is required for successful completion.
