Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to evaluate and compare the position of particular professional and social groups in the Czech lands from the 18th to the 20th century.
Syllabus
  • Following specific professional and social groups will be characterised during the course: carters and wagoners, rafters, smugglers, animal castrators, tinkers, conjurors, cirkus performers, road menders and other specific groups on the roads.
