Vymezení pojmů. Dokumentární a umělecká fotografie. Vědecký, populárněvědecký a umělecký film. Televizní národopisná produkce a její ohlas u kritiky a veřejnosti. Retrospektiva - současné problémy - perspektiva. Osobnosti české a světové fotografické a filmové tvorby s etnologickou, etnografickou a folkloristickou tematikou; ukázky z jejich děl.
