Course objectives (in Czech)
Cílem kurzu je seznámení s problematikou gender ve studiu etnologie. Budou v něm nastíněny teorie, zabývající se tématem konstituování a výkladu pojmů žena a muž, maskulinita a femininita apod., dále představeny antropologické teorie, které se zabývají studiem gender. Součástí přednášek bude exkurz do gender problematiky ve vybraných kulturních systémech. Těžiště kurzu pak bude spočívat v tematizaci dané problematiky v našem kulturním prostředí - otázky postavení ženy v privátní a veřejné sféře, téma tzv. ženských autorit, specifika výzkumu apod.
