Course objectives
The aim of this subject is to familiarize the students with the possibilities of using   ethnological research in the area of solving various social problems (developing and humanitarian aid, public space, etc.). During the course the students come to know some of the alternative approaches to   ethnology and anthropology as applied humanities. After completing the course the students are supposed to be able to consider the dynamics of an (potential) applied research, to identify its prospective subject and to apply the skills gained in field research training into practice and propose feasible solutions to problems.
