Course objectives: The course will focus on little-known questions of film performance as a cultural contexts determining film text and film experience of cinema-goers. Basic literature: V. Hediger: Verführung zum Film. Der amerikanische Kinotrailer seit 1912. Marburg: Schüren 2001.
