Course objectives
Student'll obtain (a) complex knowledge about television serial fiction as aesthetic phenomenon, (b) competences and theoretical devices for formal and narratological analysis of television serial fiction.

  • - Problematics of serial fiction: basic devices - Fictional worlds theory - Viewer's activity - Process of fictisation - Fictipedia I - Fictipedia II - Narrative dynamics in fictional worlds - Typology of seriality and function of this typology for understanding of phenomenon of serial fiction - Theoretical nature of each types from fiction theory perspective
