Course objectives
This course offers introductions to cinema of India, Islamic countries (Iran, Maghreb, Egypt, Turkey), Israel and the Sub-Saharian Africa, focused on works of the most important filmmakers.

At the end of the course students should be able to:
get acquainted with cultural context and film industries of named contries
decode spiritual messages in selected movies
appreciate their aesthetic value
