Course objectives
The lecture and the discussion form of teaching will be employed. The lecture deals with the history of the frech speaking theater in Canada from the beginning till the 1980's. The readings and the analysis will touch such autheors as Réjean Ducharme, Gratien Gelinas, Marcel Dubé, Claude Gauvreau, Jacques Ferron, Anne Hébert, Michel Tremblay and others.

  • 1. Situace divadla a tvorba do r. 1760. 2. Změny po r. 1760. 3. Vznik divadelních institucí na přelomu 19. a 20. stol. 4. Proměny 30. až 50. let 20. stol. 5. Rozvoj 60. a 80. let.
