Course objectives
The course is divided into 13 teaching units of 2 hours. Lectures, guided reading and analyzing texts aims to point out the characteristics of French Canadian and Quebec female authors, from the female perspective: specifics filiation stories, question of authority and authoritarianism, vision of femininity, specificities of women's speech, etc.

Marie-Claire Blais, Bersianik Meadows, Denise Boucher, Nicole Brossard, Ying Chen, Laure Conan, Hélène Dorion, Louis Dupré, Anne Hébert, Germaine Guèvremont, Suzanne Jacob, Monique LaRue, Rina Lasnier, Jovette Marchessault , Madeleine Monette, Monique Proulx, Esther Rochon, Gabrielle Roy, Lise Tremblay, Elise Turcotte, Yolande Villemaire).
