Course of practical French language.
Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
Development of language skills : listening, reading, speaking and writing, of vocabulary and grammar
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, a student will be able to:
- understand the full content of daily texts
- have a conversation (with complex ideas)

  • GRAMMATICAL PART:

  • LEXICAL PART: exercises in lexical transformation (derivation, composition), substitution (replace with a synonym, a periphrase) and translation from French to Czech and from Czech to French.
  • SYNTAXIC PART: introduction to the principles of French syntax. Elementary transformations of sentences and propositions, active and passive voice, participial and gerundivial construction. WORK WITH THE TEXT: reproduction and synthesis exercises (see "studijní materiály") READING: pronunciation exercises.
  • TD (Dufond): development of vocabulary, written and oral skills (work on the four skills around 4 themes: media, food, new technologies, economy), verb construction/grammar
