Course objectives
The aim of the course will acquaint students with the methodology of diploma thesis.
Syllabus
  • 1 / 1 ambitious translation of the text, a preliminary analysis of the text, a corpus of translations of the functional style, the author of a literary school or + own translation, possibly lexical and syntactic analysis 2 / 2 Text translation - a contrastive analysis of 2 texts from different functional styles with a common element in his own translation + 3 / translatologická analysis of the original and 2 Czech translations of the same work, compared to receiving a work in both cultures, a comparaison of different translators, translation strategies

Assessment methods
Credit will be given for the gradual submission of the thesis during the semester after consultation with the supervisor, and for the public poster presentation.
