Course objectives

Introduction to so called cinema of the South, including the cinema of liberation: Brazilian "cinema novo", the films from Argentina, Mexico, the Cuban revolutionary cinema, the cinema of sub-Saharan Africa, the cinema of the Arabian countries, Turkey and the cinema of Iran. Assessment: Oral examination
