Course objectives
1945-1948: the battle for the future shape of the country; 1948-1953: the building period of the communist regime; 1953-1957: the first crisis of the communist regime; 1957-1963: a period of relative stabilization; 1963-1969: the culmination of the crisis in the regime.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Obnovení československého státu v r. 1945. Budování systému Národní fronty. Politický převrat v únoru 1948. Mocenská opatření komunistického režimu. Československá emigrace po r. 1948. Problematika tzv. třetího odboje v ČSR. Likvidace opozičních struktur. Politické procesy. Ekonomická, politická a sociální přestavba ČSR v 50. letech. Počátek krize komunistického režimu v r. 1953. Vyvrcholení krize komunistického režimu v l. 1956/57 a jeí dočasné překonání. Částečná liberalizace režimu poč. 60. let. Předpoklady a projevy krize v ČSSR v l. 1967/70.
