Course objectives
The seminar course places emphasis on the knowledge of the new historical methods
the ability to understand the modern terminology
the capability to interpret the transformations of the society of the Middle Ages
the ability to understand the world of the man of the Middle Ages

  • The new reading and the explication of the sources
  • The history of the power
  • The influence of the social and the political sciences
  • The history of the mentalities, the cultural and historical anthropology
  • The new image of the Middle Ages
