Course objectives
The aim of the course is a practical exercise in popularizing contemporary music with an output directed to new media, or social networks (YouTube, Instagram, etc.). Students will gain project-based experience in creating an online presentation of the work of contemporary Czech composers.
Learning outcomes
The output of each student's work will be a maximum ten-minute video presentation explaining the work of one particular composer.

  • 1. Project layout.
  • 2. Necessary prerequisites to create a presentation (cognitive base, technological support).
  • 3. Rules of music popularization (content, form)
  • 4. Individual work on presentations + consultations.
  • 5. Presentation of outputs in the seminar.
  • 6. Publication of outputs in a common channel of contributions.
