Course objectives
At the end of the course students will acquire practical skills in academic writing. Students will cope with writing, editing and critical evaluating of the scientific essays. An important part of the course will be also an approach to the special publications and information sources. We encourage the students to keep the following procedure.
Syllabus
  • Recommended procedure and time schedule for semestral paper: - (February) - Study of the collected material: Student prepares a final structure of the paper. - (March-May) - Working on the semestral paper - Presentation of the paper. Students are obliged to consult the seminar paper procedure with the teacher. Students will be acquainted with quotation rules, cross references, footnotes aparatus. Work in the team preparing theoretical basis for individual student's presentation. Basic principles of the academical writing, research of the sources, written output.
