Course objectives
The course has competence content and aims and is focused on the application of knowledge in personal and professional life. The subject reflects the demands placed on the graduates of the LIS study program in the field of presentation and communication competencies. Key learning objectives include:
- lead students to acquire the basic principles of communication;
- to teach students gentle feedback and self-reflection;
- Provide students with tools to cope with challenging situations;
- to guide students to prepare the presentation, including the visual;
- to teach students the control of verbal expression;
- to teach students how to work with body, voice and trick
Learning outcomes
After completing the course student:
- learn the basic principles of communication;
- can give feedback and use self-reflection;
- Communicates difficult situations;
- can create a clear and comprehensible structure of the presentation and its visual;
- It can control your body and voice and defend your pain;
- is able to apply all knowledge immediately in real life practice

  • 1. Presentation structure, spectator's view, communication basics
  • 2. Voice training, description vs. assesement, principle of feedback, definition of needs
  • 3. Nonverbal communication, stage-fright training
  • 4. Choice of appropriate visual
