- Virtuální realita je technologie s rapidně narůstajícím vlivem a klesající cenou, proto si stále častěji nachází cestu do vzdělávacích i kulturních institucí. Kurz si klade za cíl účastníky seznámit se základními principy technologie, s jejím využitím napříč obory a především pak s možnostmi a limity využívání virtuální reality v knihovnické praxi.

- Účastník po absolvování kurzu: rozumí základním principům VR technologie; má přehled o dnešním využití VR technologie; zná potenciální role VR v knihovně; dokáže kriticky reflektovat využívání VR v knihovnické praxi; dokáže navrhnout knihovnickou službu využívající VR technologii.
