Course objectives
The hands-on course will be taught as a weekend design sprint on September 16 and 17. It will focus on the themes of inclusion, participation, sustainability and digitalization, within the confines of information studies and library science.
The course itself is preceded by a holiday individual work consisting of reading the assigned literature and following relevant sources. During a weekend together, we then discuss the topics in depth as a group and try to set a design challenge. Topics will be further specified during the summer months.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course, students will:

  • can think about problems and issues in their complexity and interconnectedness;
  • can make decisions based on research findings;
  • can conduct a rapid research interview based on a prepared scenario;
  • does not lament the world, but actively solves problems.
