Course objectives
In coordination with other language courses, the students further develop their abilities to actively produce a spoken discourse in the Japanese language.
Learning outcomes
Upon completing the course, the students:
have further enriched their vocabulary;
have learned typical phraseology in sociopragmatically specific speech situations;
have the capacity of active interaction using the polite form of standard modern Japanese language in most of the everyday situations.

Teaching methods
Practice of intermediate models of spoken interaction in everyday communication situations. Practice of monologues and dialogues on selected topics.
Assessment methods
Oral exam – conversation on selected topic. Active participation in classes is also part of the evaluation. Attendance of 80 % is a requirement.
