Course objectives
The course offers an introduction to the curatorial approach to the long-term protection of digital information. It will introduce participants to digital and data curation practices, including ways to preserve and increase the value of data, manage and share it, and use tools and standards in practice. Participants will learn how to protect digital cultural heritage from loss and destruction and how to develop strategies for its effective and long-term preservation. During the course, participants will familiarize themselves with the theory and context in the form of e-learning modules, and they will verify the acquired knowledge while completing partial tasks. The course will include a live workshop where you can try out some of the tools used by digital curators.
Learning outcomes
At the end of the course, the participant will know the basic procedures and activities used in digital curation.

Assessment methods
Participants who meet all the requirements of the course will receive a university certificate, i.e.:
