Course objectives
The main goal of this subject is that students acquire communicative resources related to oral expression and reading comprehension, so that they are capable of producing spoken and written texts at an intermediate level (B1). At the same time, listening comprehension will be important in this course, with listenings that will help students increase their knowledge about culture and literature.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this course students will be able: - to speak more fluently and with a higher level of vocabulary; - to understand better written texts of an intermediate level; - to work in small groups using Catalan as a language of communication; - to write texts in an organized way.
Syllabus
  • The course will be divided in 7 thematic units. Students will be required to elaborate and interpret dialogs and texts related to different kinds of discourse: 1. Fem amics. 2. Vull canviar de pis. 3. Necessito canviar de feina. 4. Es crema la cuina. 5. Anem d'excursió! 6. Fem un mos! 7. Comença l'espectacle! Textbook: Nivell bàsic 2. Castellnou edicions.
