Course objectives
A survey of minor Hellenistic art, lying outside monumental sculpture and architecture. The main focus is given in development of pottery, terracottas (both figural and architectonic), transport amphorae and stamps on them. Surveys of development of bronze figurines, vessels and appliqués are given, besides the sand core, cast and blown glass, small decorative sculpture and paintings in tombs and on stelae.
