Integrated Chinese textbook level 1 part 1.
- The course is offered EXCLUSIVELY to the students of the Chinese Department of Masaryk University.
- Exceptions could be made ONLY IF an Erasmus student has Chinese Studies as their major at their home university and if the student can present documented proof. Language proficiency certificates (HSK/TOCFL) are NOT accepted.

Course objectives
To help students familiarize themselves with contents taught in Chinese II.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to:
- use spoken and written version of new vocabulary
- use new grammatical phenomena
- answer to basic questions and create basic sentences
- react properly in basic dialogue on textbook topics.

Teaching methods
The course is taught by a native speaker who combines various methods of teaching - class discussion, conversations and oral presentations.
Assessment methods
Attendance (up to 2 unexcused absences are tolerated). Students who had three unexcused absences fails the course.
To have an absence officially excused, the doctor's notes should be submitted to the Study Department of the Faculty.
A Drill course can be finished successfully ONLY IF the related Chinese course is finished successfully.
