Course objectives
The business course incorporates the study of Chinese society and culture while integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to foster students' understanding and respect for cultural diversity, enhancing their competitiveness and sense of responsibility in international business.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, students should be able to effectively apply the knowledge they have acquired to read and comprehend business texts in Chinese, engage in discussions on business topics in Chinese, and manage business correspondence in Chinese.

Teaching methods
Students are expected to prepare at home by learning new vocabulary and texts. The course follows a seminar format, involving reading, explaining new grammar, interpreting cultural elements in texts, reviewing students' home preparation, and conducting oral exercises. Situational teaching method: Through scenario design, students can apply their learned knowledge and skills in real business situations, enhancing their practical abilities and problem-solving skills. For example, simulating presenting to shareholders and the public, introducing the efforts and achievements of the company in environmental protection, public welfare, and employee welfare. Task-based teaching method: Assign practical tasks such as organizing and participating in business banquets, allowing students to practice socializing language. Project-Based Teaching Method: students can gain a deep understanding of business concepts and skills through practical project tasks, cultivating comprehensive application abilities and teamwork spirit.
Assessment methods
weekly homework, a maximum of 1 absence is allowed during the semester, otherwise students will not be able to take the exam
