Prerequisites
NOW ( KSCA653 Chinese for Mgr. program III )
- The course is offered exclusively to the students of the Chinese Department of Masaryk University.
- Exceptions could be made if an Erasmus student has Chinese Studies as their major at their home university and if the student can present documented proof. Language proficiency certificates (HSK/TOCFL) are NOT accepted.

Course objectives
To help students familiarize themselves with contents already instructed in Practical Chinese for Mgr. program 3. Enrollment is strongly recommended.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, students should be able to:
【Listening】
- understand paragraph-length utterances pertaining to a wide range of topics relating to daily and academic life.
【Speaking】
- sustain a conversation in coherent paragraphs;
- handle a wide range of tasks;
- narrate, describe, compare and contrast.
【Writing】
- handle written Chinese.
Syllabus
  • This course uses HSK 5 Part 2, following the order of the textbook's lessons.
  • Students need to interview people and writeitinto articles based on the textbook theme. Excellent articles will be published in student magazine.

Assessment methods
Attendance (2 unexcused absences are allowed).
Doctor's notes should be submitted to the Study Department of the Faculty.
