Students take the Exam in Latin Grammar after the Second Year, if they have successfully finished all requirements and acquired the credits in Latin Grammar IV. - Course Enrolment Limitations

- Course objectives
- The Exam in Latin Grammar after the Second Year consists of written and oral part - both of them are taken in the same exam period. The contents of the Exam in Latin Grammar after the Second Year: 1) Active knowledge of the Latin normative grammar to the extent of the book František Novotný, Základní latinská mluvnice, Praha 1957 (and later editions), volumes 1 and 2. 2) Thorough erudition in the required reading of Sallustius: Catilinae coniuratio. The written part is aimed at noun and verb morphology, especially the irregular verbs, irregular comparative and superlative degrees of the adjectives and adverbs, morphological specialities of the declensions, the numerals. After passing successfully the written part students comes to the oral part - see above.
