Course objectives
The course is concerned with the Roman poetry from its beginnings to the era of Decline following the standards periodization. At the end of this course, students At completion of the course the students:
- can distinguish relevant genres of Roman poetry
- can name the prominent figures of the genres in question
- are also informed about the relevant secondary literature
