Course objectives

Prerequisities of the qualifying exam. Active knowledge of the vocabulary and grammar: Antonín Bartoňek, Latina pro posluchače filozofické fakulty, Brno 1991 and František Novotný, Základní latinská mluvnice, Praha 1957, as well as of the irregular verbs. Integral part of the exam is compulsory reading of Caesar: Commentationes de bello Gallico: 1., 4., 6. book.

Assessment methods (in Czech)

Postupová zkouška se skládá z písemné části: test z latinské mluvnice a z ústní části, při které student dokládá praktickou orientaci v latinském textu na povinném penzu Caesarových Commentationes de bello Gallico (1., 4., 6. kniha).

The course is taught each semester.
General note: Podmínkou pro klasifikaci v tomto předmětu je úspěšné absolvování "Přehledu římské literatury". V případě, že student zmíněný předmět neukončí, bude součástí postupové zkoušky také zkouška z literatury.
