Course objectives

The methods used in the course extend the students’ translation competencies in the area of mutual transposition of Czech, German, Austrian, and Swiss, cultural specifics (cultural environment, social rites, historical allusions, intertextuality, etc.), as well as their language, literary and research competencies.
