Course objectives
The Critical Thinking Methods course is fully e-learning. As part of this course, competences in media, information and digital literacy that can be used both during study and in everyday situations will be developed.
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
  • understand the concept of critical thinking in context;
  • apply critical thinking in specific situations when solving an information problem;
  • understand issues related to life in the information society and be functionally literate at the application level;
  • make qualified decisions in various situations using critical thinking;
  • Understand the importance of critical thinking in areas such as publication and citation ethics, wellbeing, argumentation or information overload.
  • Learning outcomes
    After completing the course, the student will be able to:

    The course takes place every week in the form of e-learning. It consists of 12 modules that contain study materials, possibly additional study materials, recommended literature, and a written assignment.
    The condition for successful completion of the course is the completion of all tasks and a successfully completed final test.
