Course objectives
The course will engage students in a specific museographic research project that students and teachers as supervisors will work on together during the semester. Students will learn selected research methods and techniques appropriate for data collecting, processing and evaluating the project. By completing the course, students will also gain a deeper insight into the topic under study in current museum practice.
Learning outcomes
After completion of the course, the student will be able to: - apply scientific methods and techniques to the field of museographic research; - plan the individual steps in research and participate as a team member in a specific research project.

  • 1. Basic approaches to scientific research, research topics and research methods. 2. Practical museographic research project - its preparation, data collecting and processing.

Assessment methods
A condition for successful completion of the course is the timely completion of partial research tasks according to the schedule set at the beginning of the semester. In accordance with the instructions, the student will submit the research data and written materials generated during the research activity to the submission space in ELF.
