Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce a part of the most recent narratological investigation to the students. The course is delivered by a top expert in the area.
Learning outcomes
After having finished the course the students will be able to:
- understand one of the most recent trends in modern narratological inquiry;
- analyse particular narrative texts from the point of view of unnatural narratology;
- enrich the set of the narratological tools needed for detailed analyses of narratives.
Syllabus
  • The course will take place in the 1st week of April. Unnatural Characters (Wednesday April 4th in B2:24 at 09.10-10.40)
  • Theorizing Unnatural and Impossible Plots (Wednesday April 4th in B2:24 at 17.30-19.00)
  • Unnatural Endings (Thursday April 5th in G31 at 09.10-10.40)
