Course objectives

Both authors, one born almost 100 years after the other, described in an occassional lengthy, but never boring way German middle-class life. About Kempowski, we will also his discuss his ambitious collage about life in the times of WWII, "Echolot".

General note: Kurzy NJI_161, NJI_162, NJI_163, NJI_164 jsou nabízeny primárně studentům prvního cyklu jako povinná jazyková cvičení v pátém semestru. Zbylá místa jsou pro posluchače II. cyklu.
Credit evaluation note: Dalších 5 kreditů za esej, který je podmínkou připuštění k souborné zkoušce.
