Course objectives
After a short historical overview of "German as a foreign language" or rather didactics in general, this crash course intends to impart the most important theoretical and practical fundamentals of this discipline. Teaching and learning situations are going to be discussed, same as the skills, achieved by the learner or methods of communicating learning material and different forms of testing and assessment.
Learning outcomes
After the conclusion of this class, the student has an overview of the field of study and is also able to make use of the achieved knowledge. The conclusion of this class makes a much more profound occupation with the field of study possible.
