Course objectives
The aim of the course is to extend the basic knowledge of Dutch (A2) and continue with the Contact method (second part) and work on level B2. In this course, students will expand and deepen all four skills; reading, writing, listening and speaking. Using the communicative method Contact (part 2), a manual for highly educated learners of Dutch, level B1 of the Common European Framework for Languages is aimed at. The lexical and grammatical knowledge of students is widened and all competences (reading, writing, listening and speaking) are being practised.
Learning outcomes
Students work on B2 level and will deepen their knowledge of all four skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Teaching methods
Seminars four hours a week. A combination of teacher-led activities and student-centred activities will be employed.
Assessment methods
Weekly lessons, 2 with a Czech, 2 with a native speaker. Final written test, separate tests during the term.
