Course objectives
The aim of the course is to strengthen and extend the theoretical linguistic equipment and language competence in Norwegian on the level C1.
Learning outcomes
Student is able to identificate the main frame and problems in linguistic disciplines - morphology, lexicology and syntax.
Syllabus
  • Ordstruktur. Rot. Fugeaffiks. Morfem. Leksikologi som fag.
  • Ordlagingsmekanismer i norsk. Derivasjon. Prefiks, suffiks.
  • Sammensetninger: substantiv, verb. Partikkelverb.
  • Ordklasser – oversikt.
  • Substantiv. Kjønn og bøyning. Bruk av bestemt og ubestemt form. Noen formelle kriterier for bruk av substantiv uten artikkel, f.eks. idiomer).
  • Adjektiv. Funksjon, bøyning og gradbøyning. Adjektivfraser.
  • Verb. Inndeling etter morfologiske, syntaktiske og semantiske kriterier.
  • Verb i moderne norsk: Oversikt over tempussystemet. Finitt og infinitt verb.
  • Adverb i norsk. Modaladverb, setningsadverb. Modalitet i norsk, inklusive modale verb.
  • Syntaks. Norsk setning. Ordstillingssystemet. Konjunksjoner, subjunksjoner.
  • Setningstyper. Setningsfragment. Leddstilling – setningsskjema. Indirekte spørsmål.
